Skims, an underwear and shapewear brand founded by Kim Kardashian, has just taken its first foray into men’s underwear, a step that has been welcomed by fans and talked about by every major news site on the planet.
The company has revealed that its first Skims for men collection will include boxers, briefs, undershirts, and leggings, with prices ranging from $16 (approx €15) to $54 (approx €51). Moreover, in keeping with Skims’ ethos of body positivity, sizes starts at XS and go all the way up to 5XL.
Fronting the campaign for Skims for men are three huge names in sports, namely Brazilian footballer Neymar Jr, San Francisco 49ers’ Defensive End Nick Bosa, and NBA basketball player Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, known as SGA. These, Kardashian revealed, are some of her children’s ‘idols’.
The Skims for men collection joins many others released by the company, which has been a resounding success for the influencer and socialite as the company was recently valued at $4 billion (approx €3.78 billion). With the global men’s underwear market generating around $37 billion (approx €34.95 billion) annually, this choice may see Kim’s company grow exponentially over the next few months.
