5 must-try refreshing summer mocktails

No alcohol? No problem.

If you’re like me, you love the feeling of a cocktail but you’re not a fan of alcohol. This doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy a mixture of flavours in a fancy glass. Wondering what to make? Here are some of my favourite summer mocktails.

Cucumber Mint Cooler

A light and refreshing mocktail, this is perfect for a hot summer day. All you need to do is combine cucumber slices, mint leaves, and a touch of lemon juice. Top off with sparkling water and a hint of agave syrup or honey for sweetness.

Tropical Sunshine

Pineapple juice, mango puree, and a squeeze of fresh orange juice will take you on a tropical adventure. Pour the mixture over ice and add a splash of grenadine for a sunrise effect. Garnish your class with an orange slice.

Raspberry Lime Sparkler

If you’re more into tangy flavours, you’ll want to try this mocktail. Blend fresh raspberries with lime juice and agave syrup. Top it all off with sparkling water and serve over ice. Garnish your glass with a lime wheel and fresh raspberries for the perfect summer mocktail.

Mango Mint Iced Tea

Brew a strong batch of mint tea and let it cool. In the meantime, blend mango puree and a touch of honey (this gives the mocktail sweetness). Combine with the cool tea and pour into a glass filled with ice. Garnish with a mango slice and mint leaves and enjoy your virgin mango mojito in style.

Berry Basil Lemonade

Go for an exotic mocktail by combining the flavours of mixed berries and fresh basil. Simply blend blueberries, strawberries, and basil leaves before mixing with lemonade. Pour over ice and garnish your glass with a sprig of basil and fresh berries.
