If you love baking and Harry Potter, then the Food Network’s latest show will certainly be up your (Diagon) alley.
Called Harry Potter: Wizards of Baking, the show sees actors James and Oliver Phelps, who played the mischievous Weasley twins in the Harry Potter films, host a magical baking show that’s completely Harry Potter themed.
Set on Platform 9 3/4, each episode will follow a number of contestants as they work on marvellous creations based on the magical world created by JK Rowling. Stills from the show have revealed cakes resembling the Whomping Willow, Hedwig, and unicorns.
As often happens in such shows, not everyone gets to go to the next stage; though those that do receive a coveted ticket to board the Hogwarts Express, which takes them to next stage of the competition.
The six-part series, which will also stream on HBO and Max, brings even more magic to the table by having beloved actors join the judging panel. In the first one, Warwick Davies, who played the roles of Professor Flitwick, Griphook, and the Goblin Bank Teller in the films, joins the twins.
New episodes are being released every Thursday for the next six weeks, and they’ll undoubtedly go down a treat with Harry Potter, as well as baking, fans!
