Fernandõ Gastrotheque joins Michelin constellation

All previously awarded restaurants kept their star for another year

Fernandõ Gastrotheque in Sliema has been awarded One Michelin Star.

A new name has been added to the collection of Michelin Star restaurants in Malta, as Fernando Gastroteque joins the list of prestigious awards.

Malta now features a total of six restaurants with One Michelin Star – Under Grain in Valletta; Noni in Valletta; ION – The Harbour in Valletta; De Mondion in Mdina; Bahia in Balzan and new arrival Fernandõ Gastrotheque in Sliema.

Four other restaurants also kept their Michelin Bib Gourmand from last year. These are Grain Street in Valletta (which comes from the same team as Under Grain); Rubino in Valletta; Terrone in Birgu; and Commando in Mellieħa.

Michelin inspectors also found another five restaurants worthy of a mention in the guide: Giuseppi’s in Naxxar; LOA in St Paul’s Bay; Grotto Tavern in Rabat; Legligin in Valletta; and Rosami in St Julian’s.
