House of Tours announces its first tour of Mdina

This first tour of Mdina promises to give attendees a new outlook on Malta’s Silent City.

Are you ready to go beyond Mdina’s façade and discover the tales that have made our old capital such a magical and historical place? If so, you should definitely pencil House of Tours’ The Grand Tour of Mdina into your calendar!

House of Tours is a young company on the tourism scene, but the versatile team of professionals that lead it – all hailing from the theatrical and tourism industries – know how to put on a tour with a difference.

In fact, as their mission statement puts it, the company’s aim is to provide both islanders and foreign guests with an innovative, educational, and fun way to view Malta’s landmarks, hidden treasures, curiosities, and tales.

Among those spearheading this dynamic company is tour guide Jeremy Grech, who, through his boundless knowledge and flair for historical dress-up, brings each tour to life.

Jeremy will be leading the Grand Tour of Mdina – this time as a ‘noble lord’ that’s not to be mistaken for ‘a strict gentleman, for he is witty and wonky, unlike the rest ’. Indeed, you can expect him to live and breathe the history of the Silent City as he takes attendees around its centuries’ old streets, helps them peer into historic buildings, and recounts tales of woe and wonder.

The Grand Tour of Mdina starts from Mdina Gate on September 2 at 7.30pm. The tour, however, is strictly by booking, which you can make by WhatsApping +356 7977 7776 or e-mailing hello@houseoftours.com. Tickets cost €25 each and include post-Grand Tour refreshments, which, for those after our own hearts, includes wine. (Can you tell we’re sold?)
