The evolution of light explained through fun experiments

Children to engage in hands-on craft activity and create their own candleholder

Palazzo Falson Historic House Museum in Mdina is inviting children to learn about the evolution of light through fun experiments during a second workshop from their light-themed series.

Titled ‘The Evolution Of Light’, the upcoming workshop will take place at the museum on Sunday, March 3 from 10.30am to noon and is suitable for children between the ages of six and 12.

A light-themed tour of the museum is included, where children will explore Olof Gollcher’s collection to find different sources of light used throughout history. They will also engage in a hands-on craft activity and create their very own candleholder using air dry clay.

Pre-booking is essential. One can secure their child’s place by sending an e-mail on bookings@palazzofalson.com or call them on 2145 4512. The price includes all materials for the workshop.

This workshop is part of a series of three workshops following the theme of light. When booking the last two workshops together, one benefits from a special price. Tickets are non-refundable.
