The Malta Philharmonic Orchestra project which introduced the world of classical music to young audiences in the past few months is now being brought to Gozo.

Led by artistic director Maria Blanco, Do-Re-Mi breathes life into seven distinct orchestral instruments, through interactive orchestral and chamber music concerts.

Children have the unique opportunity to forge connections with the musical characters created by scriptwriter Simon Bartolo, listen to professional music performances and participate in engaging age-appropriate workshops.

The first Gozo event, Do-Re-Mi Meets Do, is taking place at the Gozo Visual and Performing Art School in Xewkija on March 27 at 10.30am. It will feature the character of Do (the violin), who will be joined by friends in the string family.
