Palazzo Falson Historic House Museum in Mdina is holding religion-themed lunchtime tours throughout June.
Visitors will explore religious themes, symbols and objects found across the collection of Olof Gollcher, the last resident of the palazzo.
The tour highlights paintings inspired by biblical stories, devotional furnishings, liturgical silver, religious books, icons and objects linked to both Christian and Islamic traditions.
Rather than focusing on personal faith, the tour examines how religion shaped artistic production, domestic spaces and material culture across different centuries and regions.
Participants will also discover details that may often be overlooked during a regular visit to the museum.
The tours start at noon. Bookings are suggested on bookings@palazzofalson.com. The museum is open daily except for Mondays. More info is available here.
Palazzo Falson Historic House Museum is managed by Fondazzjoni Patrimonju Malti, a non-profit heritage foundation aiming to spread awareness about Malta’s heritage through museums, publications, exhibitions and events.
