Flimkien għal Ambjent Aħjar (FAA) is hosting its annual Cinema Under the Stars event in the gardens of Villa Bologna, Attard, on July 29.
This year’s screening features the acclaimed 2021 Maltese film Carmen, starring Natascha McElhone. Filmed entirely in Malta, the award-winning film has been praised for its beautiful cinematography and heartfelt storytelling, following one woman’s journey of self-discovery while celebrating Malta’s rich culture, traditions and landscapes.
Freshly prepared meals are available to pre-book when purchasing tickets, while drinks will be available throughout the evening.
Gates open at 7.30pm, food service begins at 7.45pm, and the film starts at 8.45pm.
As seating is not provided, attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs or blankets. Parking at Villa Bologna is limited, and visitors are encouraged to use public transport or ride-hailing services where possible.
