It’s the same Emily, but she’s no longer in Paris

In a recent video message to fans, actress Lily Collins, who plays the lead role in Emily in Paris, revealed that marketing executive Emily Cooper is in for a Roman Holiday in season four.

First aired at Netflix’s Tudum: A Global Fan Event held in São Paulo, Brazil, the video message asks the questions many of us have been grappling with since the end of season three, including ‘Is Alfie still heartbroken? Will Gabriel get his Michelin star? Will Mindy and the band go to Eurovision? And what about Camille? Will Sophie’s rekindled love last? And the question on all of our minds, will Emily and Gabriel finally get together?’

Lily doesn’t give us any clues as to what will actually happen, but she does promise that there’s ‘more fun, more fashion, and of course, more drama in store’ for the next season. She also teases that, ‘while Emily’s heart will always remain true to Paris, her life takes some unexpected twists this season: don’t be surprised if you find her on a Roman holiday.’

As things stand, there are no indications as to when season four of the hit series will go live on Netflix. Nevertheless, judging by the fact that the past three seasons have always dropped late in the year (season one went live in October, and seasons two and three in December), we can probably expect a similar scenario for season four.

Either way, we’re sure it will be another hit with viewers: season three alone has been watched 117,600,000 hours collectively and was in the Top 10 list in 93 countries, including Malta!
