Hat decorating workshop for children

Palazzo Falson Historic House Museum in Mdina is organising its first workshop for children as part of the exhibition Curious Beauty: An Alternative Costume Exhibition, on Sunday, April 28, at 10.30am.

Under the artistic direction of Caroline Tonna and Francesca Balzan, historic costume and accessories from the State, Church and important private collections are on display in contemporary art installations against the backdrop of the medieval palazzo. 

Children attending the workshop will explore these installations and gather inspiration to decorate their own hat during the hands-on activity.

Pre-booking is required and tickets are non-refundable. One can e-mail bookings@palazzofalson.com or call on 2145 4512.  The price includes all materials for the workshop.

The Fondazzjoni Patrimonju Malti exhibition runs until June 16.
