Artist and psychologist in session at Muża

Talk will explore the objectification by society of our human parts as a means of escapism.

Artist Alexandra Aquilina will be holding a session with counselling psychologist Mark Piscopo to share his thoughts on her solo exhibition Shrine: Finding solace in the chaos of life.

The talk will explore the objectification by society of our human parts as a means to escape the fear of death and delves into the beauty of reconnecting with our anima as a people to reclaim our authenticity and love of life.

Piscopo is a counselling psychologist specialised in substance abuse, relational difficulties, emotional disorders and psycho-oncology. He currently provides individual and group therapy to patients and their relatives at Hospice Malta. The session takes place on August 5 at 10am at Muża. The gallery opens at 10am and it is recommended to come early to view the exhibition before the talk starts.
