These three local food Instgrammers are worth following

Expect fun posts, mouthwatering imagery, and numerous new recipes.

If you’re searching for culinary inspiration or simply love looking at beautiful food imagery and videography, then you should definitely follow these three local instagrammers.

Stephen La Rosa (@stephen.la.rosa): The Michelin-trained chef publishes new recipes every week – in them, he often combines ingredients many of us may not immediately think of putting together. Some of our favourite recipes on this page are for Fried Chicken & Caviar, PBJ French Toast, and a Pumpkin Crème Brûlée. He also recreates some famous pop culture dishes, like Friends’ Leftover Sandwich.

ChEAT.mt (@cheat.mt): This page publishes gorgeous videos with easy-to-follow recipes that anyone can recreate. The recipes themselves are also varied, and range from those for a Pepperoni Ftira Burger to Honey-glazed Root Vegetables, and from Crispy Violetta Artichoke with Fresh Gozo Cheeselets to Maltese Sausage Cinnamon Rolls.

Apron & Whisk (@apronandwhisk): Living in Luxembourg has not stopped Yesenia Consoli from sharing many traditional Maltese recipes on her blog and Instagram page. This page is perfect for anyone looking to make their own Kwareżimal and Fażola bit-Tewm u t-Tursin, as well as for those looking for more adventurous dishes like Sausage and Ġbejna Baked Eggs or Tiramisù Cream Buns.
